Elaine Spatz-Rabinowitz lives and works in Cambridge, MA, and shows regularly at the Howard Yezerski Gallery in Boston. Her most recent New York show, at the O.K. Harris Gallery (2006), was reviewed in the October issue of Art in America. Spatz-Rabinowitz's signature work of oil paintings on cast, pigmented Hydrocal is held in many public and private collections, including the Museum of Fine Arts (Boston), the Addison Gallery of American Art (Andover, MA), and the deCordova Museum (Lincoln, MA). In 2006 she was named as a Finalist in Drawing by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, and has recently won a Guggenheim Fellowship (2007-2008) to continue her recent series of war paintings.
